Huntington Library

These are the days you reflect back on and smile. Andy, Mia, Angela, Alan, Eddie, Patricia; they all go well in a soup (sort of speak).

The end of the day I was reminded how much fun wrestling is. Usually you have to find somebody who's just as strong, or weak, as you are. Rough housing. Massages were good too. Angela oozes pleasure at the finger tips. *wink*

Every time I go to Huntington Library I always come out with good memories.

Caring is a very powerful tool. It allows us to grow passionate about topics. It makes us think more and grow knowledgeable. I think somewhere along the way I stopped caring but of right now I'm trying to care again.

My hopes go to those on the other side of the globe.

Random Updates

Saturday was the worst drinking experience I've had. Right after having a shot of Grey Goose and then some champagne for a friend's graduation dinner, I played king's cup for a friend's 21st birthday.

It was the most lengthy, continuous period I've been drinking in one sitting. The fact I got a little food poisoning from the graduation dinner didn't help. Alcohol's a bitch. Still never have been drunk yet. :P

On side notes, I changed my fixed gear's name to Barnabas. I recently installed a new cog giving him the gear ratio of 46/16. I had a dream last night I was skidding. It was wicked. With hands covered in grease and new handlebar risers, I'm going to rock it out this summer.

Tour of Riverside

I haven't done my own adventure in Riverside all quarter. With three finals down, I think I deserved to tour Rside. Taking the historical road, Victoria, it was an evening of spontaneous ness.

Sure enough we found a yardsale

"How much for the light?"
"I'll give it to you for $3"
"I got no cash."
"What do you have on you?"
"A pack of gum minus 2 pieces"
"I'll take it"

I got a light fixture for a pack of gum. :)

Pake named Char

My fixie has come a long way from what it use to be. I ordered the frame back in December, and with thanks to Conan, it has slowly been coming together; back from it's baguette days, to it's constant replacing of tubes, and now its seat clamp problems.

The threading on the seat clamp ripped out and I'm frustrated how to replace the entire seat clamp while it's wielded on.

So far I'm changing out the handlebars for risers and a lower gear ratio. Last thing on my list is new seat and seat post. So far I've spent a great deal of money on him but he's worth it. He's still far away from what I hope he'll become.

And as if this post didn't have enough pictures, here's a few photos I'm using as inspiration.

Day Before Finals

Cycledelics is tonight in about 1.5 hours.
Back to the Grind is also throwing a fusion of what they call a "Live Art Show and Live Music".
I really would like to go but my quarter grades tell me I don't deserve it.

I've been listening to Stacy Clark a lot.
The song I'd like isn't on youtube so I'll just give you guys a link
http://www.stacyclark.net/stacyClark.html
I love her clouds.
Her music makes you melt

If all goes well, I'll be living in a garage next year. It's a good thing. Out of all the rooms in the house, I wanted that one. If the group who wants it before us back out, I'll show you guys pictures.
